Denari Development

We at Synergy work diligently to try to make DenariOnline the very best software available in our industry. Approximately 65% of our staffing is dedicated to the customer support area to try to help you, our customers, be successful. One element that helps us in this endeavor is your feedback. We listen very carefully to your suggestions and ideas and evaluate them based on the over-all development of the software, the value to the bulk of our users, and the risk and time associated with implementing them.

As we continue to grow, and our staff expands, we find more need to manage this process of responding to customer input.  Over the past year we have conducted several “projects” geared toward improvements in particular facets of Denari. We did the Missionary project, the Radio project, the Cosmetic project. Each resulted in significant improvements. We have plans to do the Sponsorship project, the eCorrespondence project and the Quick Reports project. This “project” mentality seems to create a healthy degree of momentum, focus and creativity.  We think it is a healthy way to run Synergy, resulting in the best software and the best support.

The Project Model:

The Project Model of software development has several characteristics:

  1. Synergy will announce a production schedule, with target dates for projects.
  2. Synergy will solicit feedback in preparation for that project. Your on-going suggestions will be collected and categorized for an upcoming project.
  3. A master list will be assembled of ideas being considered for that project.
  4. A survey will be presented to the customer base, through the Online Communities area, where you can rate the various ideas for their relative value.
  5. A compilation will be constructed, to ensure we focus on the most valuable ideas.
  6. Feedback will be sent to each customer, giving them the status of their suggestion.  Some will be included in the Project Green List, those items to be completed.  Some will be in the Project Yellow List, those items not approved for immediate programming, but still under consideration for future projects.  Some will be on the Project Red List, meaning the item has not been approved for the Project.  Red List items will likely come with a quote for customization, should the customer want to pursue the matter further.
  7. The items will be programmed.
  8. The finished list will be published.

As with any management model, this one isn’t perfect.  Our hope is that you will work with us to smooth out any kinks, as we team up in partnership, to accomplish your mission, and to product the best possible software.

Thank you,

Tom Kaufman, President
